Derriere - Performance Panty Padded Shorty Female

The Derriere Equestrian Performance Padded Shorty (DEPPP) is designed to eradicate seamlines visible through breeches and ensure no rubbing, chaffing or abrasions are created due to stitched seams. Incorporating the Derriere Equestrian Padded Support System (DEPSS), leading the field in non-chaffing, abrasion free, padded stylish equestrian underwear that protects the perineal area from friction and the resultant discomfort to the rider.

The technology used to design and produce the DEPPP incorporates bonding of fabrics, creating naked seams free of full stitching. To ensure the garments are of the highest designer quality, support stitches are placed at specific points on the bonded seams for full security. The DEPP features the characteristic designer jacquard that finishes Derriere Equestrian® undergarments with style and quality second to none.

The work we have continued to do with our product designs has seen an addition to the bonded seam design. To ensure complete longevity of the garments and to ensure high temperature wash longevity we have added a very light simple seam to our bonded seams. The design is beautiful and combines the bonded technology with the light seam stitch, creating a stunning finish to the garments.

The new seam finish is available in all colours - White, Purple and Black - and in all garments - Performance Panty, Padded Panty, G-String, Padded Female Shorty and Padded Male Shorty. So if you’re ready for an underwear refresh, now is certainly the time to do it.

Fabric

The fabric selection for the bonded DEPP is high end, luxury, sporting technology, from our fabric suppliers in Southern Italy. The content is a mix of Polyamide and Elasthanne. Providing you with elegant, designer underwear that is soft, supportive, with the performance stretch needed for equestrian sports.

The DEPSS has been scientifically developed and researched in both the UK and Italy, combining the knowledge of Equine Sports Therapists, the world’s leading manufacturing team in cycle pad development and thoroughly researched equestrian riders requirements. The use of data from anatomical research studies, combined with perineal pressure studies led to the clarification of the design of our equestrian pads. Further performance testing with riders in all disciplines has led to the design of the ultimate range of equestrian undergarments.

DEPSS Fabric

The DEPSS is made up of a content mix of Polyamide, Elastomere and Polyurethane. The EIT X-Tract features Bacteriostatic properties. Fabric conditioners should be avoided in the washing and care of the DEPSS, as particles may bond to the pad core and reduce the compression set of the foams. 

How should Derriere Equestrian undergarments be washed?

For maintaining our products at their best, we suggest:

Machine washing at low temperatures, only on delicate cycles of 30c. Use neutral, non-aggressive detergents. 
Do not bleach. 
No chlorine. 
Do not dry clean. 
Avoid conditioners and fabric softeners, as they may contribute to reduce the compression set of the foams. 
Do not tumble dry. 
Do not leave soiled clothing unwashed, as residual sweat will damage the garment. 
Keep like colours together.
